For about 2 years now Integrity has been attempting and negotiating with Medicaid transportation brokers (MTM & Modivcare) that ensure transportation for Medicaid MCO’s (BCBS, Aetna, etc.). After multiple attempts we have been told multiple times by the brokers that there is not a need in our area for our services. This is simply not the case..... In West Central Illinois and Eastern Missouri we have lacked a reliable NEMT service that could provide this service, therefore, people have either tried to find other means of transportation or have neglected their own healthcare needs because there isn't Medicaid transportation available. We are now fighting back to help provide for those that are being neglected.

Modivcare claims that there is not enough volume in this area to justify the rates requested. Modivcare has not made a good faith effort to try to negotiate. Modivcare has offered their intro rates BUT those rates would not sustain a service long-term and is causing similar companies to go out of business.
